Navigating billing transitions

After upgrading, the individual who purchased the subscription will be promoted to Team Owner and receive all billing emails.

If you upgrade from an individual to a Business plan, a new billing period begins, and a new invoice is generated. The prorated amount for unused time on your previous plan is deducted from your latest invoice.

Upgrading to an annual Business subscription

Upgrade to unlock team collaboration features.

  1. Create or log into your WellSaid account.
  2. Navigate to Account>Plan from the left menu.
  3. Click the Upgrade button.
  4. Under the Business plan, click Upgrade
  5. Enter your team or company name and specify the number of seats you want to purchase, including yourself. 
  6. Provide your payment details and confirm your subscription upgrade. 
  7. Voila! Your team is created.

Adding members to your team

Start adding members to your team by navigating to your Account’s Plan or Team section.

  1. In the Plan or Team section, click Add Team Member to invite your team members.
  2. Invite each team member individually by filling out the fields required and selecting their access level (member/admin).
  3. Click Invite, and your team member will receive an invitation email to join.

Need to add more seats to your team? Head to your Account>Plan section to add licenses to your subscription.

How are download credits and projects defined?

Team limits are pooled based on the number of seats.

For annual subscriptions:

  • Project Limit: 100 projects x number of seats
  • Clip Limit: 9,000 clip downloads x number of seats

Please note: Personal projects count towards your team’s allotment.

To reduce the number of seats in your subscription, you can contact Support to request any changes. 

FAQs

Q: What happens if I remove a member from my team?

A: If a member is removed, the number of seats available stays the same.  

Q: What happens if a team member already has a current subscription in place?

A: Have the subscriber contact Support for help.

Q: How do I cancel my Business subscription?

A: Your subscription automatically renews until you cancel. After cancellation, access to paid features continues until the end of your billing cycle. Please get in touch with Support for help.

Q: Can there be more than one team owner? 

A: Each team can only have one Team Owner—the first user of the Team.

Q: Can I add a Billing admin to my team subscription?

A: We currently are not supporting billing admins on self-serve team accounts.
