We at WellSaid have grown significantly, and as such, we are legally required to charge and collect sales tax based on your location.
How is Sales Tax Calculated?
The calculation of sales tax on your invoice relies on your location and the tax regulations specific to your jurisdiction, which ensures accurate taxation.
Remote employees are only taxed according to where they reside, regardless of their employer’s location.
How Will Addresses Be Collected?
WellSaid collects sales tax from all subscribers in supported jurisdictions, both new and current.
As a new subscriber, you must provide your address information at sign-up allowing us to tailor our services to your location and ensure security compliance for your region. If you are purchasing as a business, you must provide a tax ID.
If you’re a current subscriber, you’ll be prompted to provide your address when logging into your Studio account, during payment updates, or when upgrading or renewing a subscription.
NOTE: If you need to adjust your address information, you can easily do so under the Account > Billing > Address section of your WellSaid account.

Q: Why am I being asked for my shipping address?
A: We base sales tax on the location where you use the product, so your shipping address is the location where you intend to use Studio.

A: There are no fees or charges in addition to sales tax. We collect only sales tax based on your jurisdiction and in compliance with legal obligations.
Q: How do I know my information is safe?
A: WellSaid prioritizes the security and confidentiality of customer information. Personal data, including address details, will be handled securely and in accordance with applicable privacy laws. Q: I’m part of a team. Who is responsible for submitting tax information?
A: Team admins are responsible for submitting tax information. Once an admin has provided the relevant tax information, team members will no longer receive prompts to enter tax information.
